HI Guys, I am back with my new blog. This blog explores all my feeling and my mindset when I am on the road-trip or traveling across the world.

Let me start sharing my experience when I get all set for my roadtrip. When I leave my home, it gives me feeling of freedom. I feel like I am soon gonna get the wings and I am gonna leave this earth forever and will be traveling to a new planet or new universe. That feeling is unique and incomparable. Its the feeling of relief. its a feeling of ultimate peace. I become so excited just because I will be leaving the worries, woes, tension and all problems behind me. And for some time i will enjoy peace, i will feel my heart and i will experience all new world.
My flight from Mumbai to Delhi AI 101. Liked their Services.

Let me describe you what I feel when I am in Flight.

When I board the flight, the very first thing that I do is praying god for giving me an opportunity to fly across the worlds. I overwhelmed god’s help with gratitude. It brings a smile on my face. Once I am done with my prayer, I sit and relax. I close my eyes and i try to listen to my breathing and my heart beats.

Now let me describe you what I feel...

  • I feel like a Bird, I feel that I got a wings and now no one can stop me reaching Sky
  • I feel like a Ocean, I feel that now i dont have any Coasts
  • I feel like an Air, I feel that I don’t have any Boundaries
  • I feel like that Traveler, who has left behind everything in pursuit of happiness
(A Flying bird free from this planet and making his own path. I shot this at HariDwar India.)

It makes me feel that, I am all away from my daily routine, organized schedule, a time table. No blackberry, no more business emails, no more business calls.

It makes me feel that I am all set to reclaim my own life. I am all prepared to embrace nature in me.

It makes me feel that I ready to indulge myself with new world.
And Yes, It’s a great feeling.

Just imagine that the problems of life, woes, tensions, issues, mistakes, and all those things that makes you dull and depressed, is actually taken away from your life for 10 days. And those 10 days are filled with spirituality, relaxation, fun, enjoyment, Love and peace. Can you Imagine, how your life would be. You will be at the peak of your happiness. There will be spark in your eyes. A positive aura will flow around your body and whole ambiance will vibrate with that.,

That’s the feeling I am talking about. I feel the same way whenever I am set for traveling. Be it for 1 day or for a month.
"Life is not measured by the breaths we take,
But by the moments that take our breath."

So take out some time and indulge yourself to do something that you haven’t experienced. Get inspired today and On this New year take the resolution that you will explore a new world around you.

Let me end this blog by one simple but very powerful line.

“Make most of your life, because you don’t know of next birth”

Note: Please drop your feelings and thoughts via comments. And also share this blog post with your friends.

Kind Regards,

Personal time in Pune

Hi guys this blog is very special and dedicated to some people who made my Pune visit very special and added lots of fun and made enjoyable.
Check out my travel information
  • Travelled more than 150km to and fro by Air conditioned Volvo buses
  • 3 nights and 4 days visit in Pune from 17th Oct to 20th Oct
  • Business visit
Before I start writing anything, let me just tell you that it was one of the nice business cum pleasure trip I had. All 4 days, I was just with myself. Nobody to care for, nobody to look for, no more house work, all free time just with me and for me. So much time of relaxation, so much time of introspection. Those 4 days I was pampering myself.. LOL.. yeah it was cool. And guess what I was not with my laptop, facebook, gmail or not even any travelling videos. I was back to my traditional stuff. Just a pen and a paper. That feeling rejuvenated me. Took me to my old school days where I used to carry those stuffs all the time. I should say, I was dating myself. Or it was just “I, me and Myself”.

Day 1 was a long a day. Woke up at 5am. And still I had a fear of losing my bus. Reached at nick of time and started pune journey in Volvo bus from dadar. In 3 and half hour I was outside my company gate. It was Monday morning in I was in my casual outfits. Jeans and party shirt. I was kind of strange guy in old city. But I was like “it doesn’t matter” and with that I moved in to S2 to see my team. I am sure they must have thought “Monday maniac is here”. LOL… ok lets go further. Then I met my team and I was completely delighted. It actually gives really good perception when you meet in person rather than talking over phone from thousand miles away. Meanwhile I got my accommodation and I decided to get n to business attire. I got my room, got fresh and then back to business. I started my training and ended with lots of discussion. Day 1 was good. As I told you it was very long, I checked in my room at around 10PM. But I was still active.

(Morning breakfast in pune guest house. healthy and good food.)

Day 2 was pretty. Weather was cheerful. Sun shined beneath clouds and nature was surrounded by dim light. I got good chance to know everybody. Since I had a good company of my colleague for breakfast, coffee, lunch breaks and lot more. All are unique with their quality and personalities. Lots of talk of here and there. There was not a single session that we didn’t discuss anything. Discussions on movies, actresses, cricket, food, diet plans, America and what not. For me, tea break was the best part. I still miss that. Day ended with the text msg from Kajal announcing pot lunch. I was like “What?” I was curious to know what will be in the menu. And guess what they hid menu from me just for a surprise. It was cool idea.

(View from my guest house at 8AM)

Day 3 starts with the thought of pot lunch menu. I was still figuring out what will I get in pot lunch without onion garlic. Due to some work, I headed office early and they make me wait a lot for lunch. I waited almost 2 hours but it was worth waiting. Finally I got the menu that Kavita and Kajal bought veggies, roti and pani puri (Indian spicy and everybody’s favorite recipe). They both made with out onion and garlic veggies for me. I was so much delighted with that. Abhijeet (AB) bought fried rice and Kingshuk bought sweets for desserts. The food was awesome. I really appreciate the extra efforts taken by 2 girls and AB’s mother. Getting something readymade from walmart is very simple but to wake up early in the morning and preparing food for everybody and no onion-garlic food for me was a big deal. I know how much stressful and time taking is that. I couldn't stopped myself for thanking them for wonderful pod-lunch.

(a pod lunch pic. From L-to-R. Kingshuk, AB, Dipti, Kavita, Kajal, Adil. U can see Kavita ready for the pose with a smile.)

The experience was amazing. All team members/friends on one table and lots of food to eat. That’s incredible and worth experiencing. I could see the harmony flowing around everybody. A very big thank you Pune team for such an awesome celebration. They made my day.    Day got over and started packing my bags for Mumbai.

(it was 6 in the morning. Had a hot tea and ready to leave Pune office)

It was the most enjoyable business trip I ever had. On 3rd day I felt like staying for few more days. This business trip was full of fun, enjoyment, lots of learning and being friend with others.
I would like to introduce my team…. Ohhh.. I would rather call friends (this connects me a lot) so my pune friends are: Kingshuk, Praveen, Abhijeet, Adil, Kajal, Kavita, Dipti and Ramesh. Thanks you so much guys for making this business trip most memorable.

Kind regards,
Shyam Gohil

I don’t know what is so special today. I am blushing a lot. I don’t know what’s happening to me. I looking more fresh and energetic today. It’s completely refreshing feeling. It’s just awesome.
Is it because of lovely weather or is it because of inspiring words of Genius Steve Jobs or is it because of good luck or is it because of my mood? I don’t know what is that? it’s becoming very difficult for me to find out… LOL.. it’s really crazy sometimes… when you can describe what you are feeling.. but yes, something really made me special.

Today, weather is so amazing. I can’t even imagine that Mumbai can have such an awesome and cozy weather. Cold wind and gray sky. Everything is becoming so adorable and beautiful.  I see less people on streets, very few vehicles roads, everything is cool and calm. It is as if I am on cloud 9 or in wonderland. I am delighted with the new surroundings.  My mood is going high exponentially. And setting up to its perfect level.  I just realized that I am full of positive vibe and I am spreading across my surrounding.

  • Why am I feeling that I am floating with the force of happiness?
  • Why am I seeing new glow on my face?
  • How did I get that new smile today?

I am really pleased with the nature, I am pleased with all the amazing feeling I got today. It makes me feel again that I am in my dream world (Shyam’s Perfect World).

Phoenix to Mumbai

Hi friends,

Today I am going to share my journey experience from phoenix to Mumbai. Guys, that journey was amazing. I had a tough time and I had some of the awesome memories. There is so much to say about this.

Date: 19 Aug 2011: I was supposed to fly on that day but I got extension till 31st Aug 2011.

Date: 23 Aug 2011: I got flight ticket confirmation from my manager.

Date 31 Aug 2011: woke up early by 5AM. Took bath and did puja and then left Siddharth’s home (sweet home) and Shashi came to drop me in his Nissan maxima. I was altogether in different mood. Few days back I was thinking that I don’t want to go back to India but on the last day my excitement to go back to India increased exponentially. I was just thinking that when will I sit in the flight and when will I get down at Mumbai airport to see my mom and dad. Meanwhile, I was little bit worried about my luggage but then I found that my luggage was under limit so it was sign of relief for me. After security check I got completely free. Then I started my photography. Look at few pictures below. It was really good time.

Flight: from Phoenix to San Francisco: had a good time. It took us 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach SFO. I was flying in American Airlines. The flight service was really good. They have nice magazines and good crew members. Since this was just a domestic flight, we didn’t have breakfast or lunch for free. But anyways, my belly was full from Phoenix so I didn’t want to eat anything. By the way look at below pictures that I took.

Got down at SFO and then started moving to international flight. I really had to walk a lot for SFO international terminal. It was as if I was just running here and there with no sign and clue of where to go. LOL, it was really funny. It was as if I was in wonderland and asking for help at each place. Every time I used to call up security and I used to ask them only one question “Where is this terminal?”. And with their guidance I was little bit relaxed and reached security check and then to terminal number 3 and Gate 215. It was a good experience. I enjoyed it.

Before I start my talk about what happened at waiting lounge, let me tell u something what did I do when I was at SFO transit. I had light breakfast and then a coke and skype chat with Taran and Anna. We had nice talk.

At Waiting lounge of gate 215: I was again hungry, I came to my waiting lounge and there I found a beautiful lady. She was looking like in between 35 to 40. She was so cool. So I kept my baggage and asked her to keep a watch on it because I wanted to buy a sandwich for me. Check out this video that I took after meeting that lady.
Her name is Nimira. She is so cool and very friendly. I didn’t even take much time to be friend with her. i found that we both share the same thinking and understanding. So it was really amazing. After chatting with her I came to know that she and her mom,dad are traveling in india for almost 30 days. And my first expression was “WOW” and guess what they had the same feeling. I was really excited to know about their travel planning and their excitement. Then Nimira told me that she hasn’t visited India before and she is just coming for the first time. Her parents visited India in 1989 long ago. Since then many things have changed in India. So we became good friends at the airport and then I suggested couple of good places to visit in Mumbai and in Delhi. I was really impressed with their planning. They had all the printed notes of each and everyday. Where they are going, what will they do, what food they will be eating and everything. I liked it. They were prepared for each and everything starting from first aid kit to toilet napkins. Very well managed. I learned a lot from their planning. Hats off to them.

They we boarded flight to Dubai. Emirates is one of the best airline of the world. They have all range of services. Impressive entertainment system, very beautiful & polite crew members and lots of food. I personally prefer emirates because they offer Jain food. Their foods is really tasty, fresh and lots of variety. I just loved it.

I spend most of my time talking to flight crew members. They are so cool. We share talks about life, family, different countries and lots of. And just like that. It took 14 hours to reach dubai from SFO.

On Dubai airport, I met Nimira again and took lots of pictures and gave some tips of photography. Then I went to gate 216 to catch my flight for Mumbai. I waited almost 4 hours on Dubai Airport to catch next emirates flight to Mumbai. Nimira and her family took flight to Delhi.

I reached Mumbai by 2:30AM IST. I was so much excited to see my mom, dad and brother. I did my security check, and waited almost 1 hour to get my  luggage. Then finally I moved out of airport to see my mom and dad. I just stepped out and I first saw my dad waiting for me. I met everyone and touched their feet. It was really awesome moment for me. I felt amazing. They were happy to see my new look. And then we headed to home.

My journey is always amazing and full of talk, excitement and adventure. I meet so many people, I talk to them, I just try to understand them, I try to know about their culture and lots of things. This is how I travel and this is what I enjoy doing. I make sure that I enjoy every bits of my traveling with a smile. Take a look at me... hope u guys will enjoy it

Guys, drop your feeling via comments. I would love to hear more from you all.

Kind Regards,
Shyam Gohil
